Hollywood Ink: Demi Moore Answers Margin Call of Duty

demi_moore_ink.jpg· Not a moment too soon (the film started shooting today), Demi Moore signed on to the ensemble cast of Margin Call, the frantic day-in-the-life drama about a cluster of Wall Streeters grappling with the early signs of the financial meltdown. Moore is set to play a "chief risk-management officer at a firm," which, if hindsight is any guide, implies not just a little villainy. Kevin Spacey, Zachary Quinto, Paul Bettany and Stanley Tucci co-star. [Deadline]

Michael Shannon goes bad, and the Vincent Gallo/Michael Madsen pairing you've always dreamed of will come to fruition as Hollywood Ink continues after the jump.

· Michael Shannon is aboard the thriller Premium Rush, playing a sketchy cop opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt's elusive bike messenger-with-precious-cargo. They'll flit around New York City for writer-director David Koepp; Jamie Chung is also attached to join them as the ex-girlfriend with a few sweet cop-evasion moves of her own. [THR]

· I can't lie: With Vincent Gallo and Michael Madsen now attached, the film Loosies -- about "a New York City pickpocket who is confronted by a pregnant woman with whom he had a one-night stand" -- will have one hell of rad DVD case. [THR]

· Anyone wanna buy a stake in CAA? First broiled baby dinner thrown in for free? Anyone? [NYT]

· "Think Willy Wonka, The Matrix and Avatar all rolled into one." Or not, but that's reportedly what you have to expect from Ready Player One, Ernie Cline's virtual-reality tale that Warner Bros. picked up just ahead of the weekend. [THR]
