Happy Birthday, Rog!
If you love a movie I am going to see it, no question. If you hate a movie, I sometimes disagree but you always make a valid argument.
Enjoy your big day!
Jesus Christ. I am so sick of hearing this. Just the other day I called a Zack Snyder film a front-runner for an Oscar and invited all of New York to join me for a preview of the best film I've seen this year. Still, I'm either wrong or I'm mean. All of this felt good until you came along to hijack the moment and prove that trolls win no matter what, so let's just agree you'll (still) not read me anymore and I'll skip your bullshit as well. Thanks.
Now, back to Rog.
I understand your pain, Stu, but I have to say that what makes a blog more interesting than a magazine is the comment section because you get to see what the jack-asses (I know I have been one myself, at times) have to say. Comments sections can't be perfect unless you delete the offending remarks and that is no fun at all. I (and I think others would agree) think you are one of the most intelligent, unbiased writers in Showbiz so don't worry about the "Trolls". Most of us just laugh at their "opinions", anyway.
I think Rog would enjoy this discussion...
Don't let the trolls get you down. There are way more readers who appreciate your (and all the Movieliners) writing and opinions than trolls who feel the way HUGZ does. I'm sure of it. Can't wait for Animal Kingdom on Monday!

Doesn't it feel good to write something 100% nice about someone? You should try it more often. Baby steps, STV. Baby steps.

You didn't do this on Rex Reed's birthday.
Just sayin...
That's because Rex Reed is retarded. Or, as he might say, "What a putrescent mixture of the puerile and the hysterically overstated!"

To paraphrase Matt Groening, "My goal it to entertain you, or to annoy you. Either way, I have done my job."
Thanks for all the movie reviews and advice. Happy Birthday Roger!
