Which Shows Should NBC Put the Old Spice Guy In?
Old Spice's "man your man could smell like" apparently impressed some suits with his 30-second Super Bowl ad. NBC just declared Isaiah Mustafa, star of the gone-viral cologne commercial, "a talent worth developing" who will now audition for parts on the network's various series as part of a talent holding deal. Let's analyze the network's fall schedule and figure out where Mustafa can fit his aromatic allure.
Undercovers: Not only is it NBC's sole scripted series with black leads, but it apparently needs actors like Mustafa who can talk quickly. Mustafa joins as a messenger who gives the married spies clues in comical burglar sacks.
Community: When Abed decides to pick up an extra semester hour, he enrolls in what appears to be a beginner's badminton class. But domineering teacher Mustafa fwacks the newbie with a hundred shuttlecocks at 100 m.p.h., repeatedly cawing that Abed will never make it in "regionals" against the Mt. Assisi Girls' High School team, the "Whirly Birdies."
Love Bites: Our two lead romantics Annie and Frannie fight over Mustafa, who is both Annie's pilates instructor and Frannie's next door neighbor. The ladies are forced to decide which bond is more sacred, and who deserves him more. When both decide to play fair and let him go, they hook up with him independently anyway.
30 Rock: Jenna's newfound romance with cross-dresser Paul (Will Forte) could use another strange twist. Now, Paul reveals that he used to be married to a man (Mustafa) who sometimes still dresses as Paul dressed as Jenna. Jenna responds by dressing as Mustafa dressed as Paul to see how he likes it.

Now this is what I call good news!
Put him in The Office. Let me replace Toby (not forever) as the new HR rep who doesn't take shit from Michael, Dwight or anyone. Let him actually start enforcing all the ridiculous HR violations that have been occurring through the years. And then it turns out he's a plant gathering information for another company who wants to hire away Dunder Miflin's staff (since their sales #'s are good). MIchael and Dwight find out who he is and launch their own investigation of his company and find enough dirt to put it out of business in the season finale.
Or he could just be SNL's new Obama. About time hired they hired someone who wasn't just a white guy with a little makeup on. And, for that matter, who is funny.
