Dina Manzo Leaves Real Housewives, But Who Should Go Next?

If you watched this week's Real Housewives of New Jersey until the very end, you probably caught the two surprise reveals that Bravo buried in the teaser for next week's episode: 1) Danielle Staub has a sex tape and 2) One housewife is leaving the show. Most viewers probably assumed that those two revelations were interconnected -- the cast members would badger Danielle about her latest scandal until she snaps, punches Teresa in the face, and is ejected by Bravo producers. However, the controversy-prone Danielle isn't the one jumping ship -- that'd be Dina Manzo, the most reasonable of the cast members. Who else needs to go?

1st to Leave: Dina

Allegedly, Dina decided to leave after the Bravo camera crew filmed the Brownstone charity function that she had organized for a baby with cancer. In the episode, which aired two weeks ago, Danielle crashed the event with a team of ex-cons (none of whom paid for tickets), took attention away from the BABY WITH CANCER, and then called Caroline's son a gay slur. Dina was reportedly mortified that the Bravo cameras interfered with her work and felt that Danielle had "made a mockery" of the cause.

2nd and 3rd to Leave: Caroline and Jacqueline

If the Manzo family really is "thick as thieves" as Caroline famously claimed during the show's season one finale, Dina's sister Caroline and sister-in-law Jacqueline will also quit the Housewives of New Jersey out of loyalty.

4th to Leave: Danielle

Yes, Danielle is the most-hated housewife and would technically be the first voted off if this was a popularity contest. But the Housewives is a Bravo franchise, which means that its success is directly related to the amount of petty conflict each week. I would be just as content watching a series that is divided between Danielle (as she hawks sex tapes, forces her daughter into high pressure modeling situations, and buys expensive suits so that her friends stop using gay slurs) and Teresa (as she continues to make driveway tomato sauce, births a dozen more baby girls, and flip tables at Danielle).

Last to Leave: Teresa

Sweet, simple-minded Teresa. I would watch Teresa Guidice do anything -- cobble shoes, raise Welsh corgis, manage an Arby's in Arizona, or learn Native American tribal carving. The woman is the heart and soul of the Housewives of New Jersey. Leave her the last woman standing.
