Courteney Cox Wants Friends Movie
Sex and the City 2 just keeps on wreaking havoc, doesn't it? Now it's prompted a jealous Courteney Cox to resurrect her own bigscreen transfer. "I wish we could do that with Friends," Cox told the LAT. "The thing is, the characters from Sex and the City hopped all over Manhattan. On Friends, we were always stuck in the apartment and that coffeehouse." Then again, Sex 2 wasn't afraid to shake up its surroundings with a relocation to Abu Dhabi. Imagine the potential of ladies shedding their burqas to reveal their very own "Rachel" haircuts to an appreciative Jennifer Aniston! [LAT]

...which were located on a soundstage. In Los Angeles. At least SaTC was actually filmed here.
There's no reason why they couldn't do a Friends movie with it being set at the house that Chandler and Monica moved to. What they would actually come up with for a storyline is another matter but I am sure that even if it was slammed by critics it would still end up a success.
All I know is, a Friends movie would have to include Paul Rudd. And that means there's a chance of seeing Celery Man.
Does she not realize that characters can actually be written to go anywhere? Ugh, morons with money. Nothing worse.
I for one would love to see a Friends movie and have it maybe come out by 2013 to serve as the 10 year reunion/20th anniversary tribute. It would be cool to see it be more like Sex and the City, with everything being on the actual streets and no laugh-track, but still plenty of humor of course. Also; if they did a movie, they should completely ignore that mess of a spin-off series Joey. I have been thinking about this since they said Friends was going off the air so its great at least some of the actors are thinking about it as well.
