Stanley Tucci is Captain America's Creator
Stanley Tucci had a great 2009, but how can he follow up the one-two Streep-loving/child-raping punch that was Julie & Julia and The Lovely Bones? With a superhero movie, of course. Today, Marvel announced that Tucci will play Dr. Abraham Erskine, the scientist whose secret experiment creates the title character of Captain America. Stanley Tucci's wife died in 2009. I don't think had that great a year.
I just want to rub his head every time I see him. It's not just that he's a cueball. There's something about the shape of his skull that is just begging for someone to rub that head! And make a wish of course.
I think Stanley Tucci is one of those underated actors in Hollywood, but this is a very good move on his part.
