Which Characters Did Katherine Heigl Admit to Hating?
Katherine Heigl tells it like it is. If Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes makes her work a 17-hour work day, K-Heig is going to complain about it on Letterman. If she doesn't believe that the network material she was given is worthy of an Emmy nomination, K-Heig is going to announce it from the rooftops. If she thinks the role that launched her lucrative film career is a little "sexist," you best believe that she is going to talk to Vanity Fair about it. So who is surprised that the actress chose to do some more truth-telling on her Killers promotional circuit?
No one. In a USA Today interview published yesterday, the actress further explained why she decided to leave Grey's Anatomy this year:
"I felt very protective of Izzie. I really loved her. I felt she was an admirable woman who certainly made mistakes. But I was starting to not like her, and that bothered me," she says.
Of course, that hasn't stopped her from submitting her name for Emmy consideration this year. Still, after complaining to Vanity Fair that her Knocked Up character was a "bitch" and a "killjoy," it seems like the actress is steadily disavowing all of her best-known roles, leaving the Katherine Heigl Kill Count at 2. How many more movies will she have to make before admitting that she hated her Killers character, too?

I'll be the first to readily admit that I hate Katherine Heigl.
And how much more crap and vilification from the media will this poor woman have to put up with. Can't you find a new figure of hate?
Daniel, it sounds like she is doing most of the hating. Others are just reporting what she said with a little opinion at the end.
P.S. I hate her too
Why is anybody surprised? This is her MO. She does the role, collects the cool millions (kaching!) and later disavows the roles while still submitting them for award nominations leaving Rhimes and whoever else casted her in movies looking like fools for casting her in the first place.
Good for her! I mean honestly don't you agree? Izzie had gotten annoying and it's a character that I used to love.
What kind of world do we live in where people get villified for being honest? She attacked no one, she was just being honest and sharing her opinion about something.
I agree with Daniel above, move on...
Life is too short to expend your energy getting pissed off at an actress that you don't know, you've never met, and your impression of her is based entirely on what the media feeds to you.
Katherine Heigl spends far too much time defending herself in these comment threads. We see you.
She is just a hater. She makes plenty of money and gripes all the way to the bank. Gawd, I hate her too.
Izzie Stevens was a conceited, stuck-up, self-pitying fool of a character, and if Katherine Heigl "loved" her, I will say the same thing about Heigl herself. Izzie should have died at the end of last season with no chance of returning to the show. Let's hope that Shonda Rimes learned her lesson and kicked her out for good.
Hate her! Ever since she felt the need to stick up for TR and bad mouth IW I lost respect for her. Furthter more she is really ungreatful, has no professional courtesy and respect for her co-workers. I think she is a liar as well. She wanted to leave Grey's and made up every excuse she could to do so. PLEASE HOLLYWOOD, stop hiring this ingrate!
