BREAKING: Gary Coleman Dead at Age 42
Only hours after learning that Gary Coleman had been placed on life support following a nasty fall that left the actor in a coma, TMZ is reporting that the Diff'rent Strokes star has died. Coleman had a history of health issues including kidney problems and a seizure that the actor suffered earlier this year on the set of The Insider. Coleman was 42.
The actor was admitted to the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center after suffering a brain hemorrhage on Wednesday, and was conscious and lucid until Thursday afternoon.
Says TMZ:
We've learned Gary's wife, Shannon, made the decision to pull life support early this AM.
We're told Coleman died at 12:05 PM MST. He died of a intracranial hemorrhage.
Family members and close friends were at Coleman's side when life support was pulled.

Gary Coleman was the first 'colored' that my racist grandmother tolerated on her teevee. She loved watching that little Arnold Drummond. My guess is he broke that barrier for a lot of people. RIP.
