Fact: Your New E-Mail Address Might Be Worth $5,000
Hey, everybody, good news! Movieline's parent company MMC has a spare $5,000 to offer to one lucky registrant for an e-mail address at Mail.com. I can guarantee you that's about $5,000 more than Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL or any of those other cheapskate enterprises are offering these days. Click through for more about your potential payday.
Registering is easy. Like, possible-$5,000-for a-minute's-work easy: Just go to Mail.com now, click "Sign Up" and get your fashionable new address going. Rules are here, but what might be most important are three primary points:
· You can register for as many addresses -- and thus as many chances to win -- as you want. (Though we'll be on the lookout for 'bot programmers, who should expect to be shot and/or disqualified upon sight.)
· The lucky winner will be notified of his/her enrichment via the winning Mail.com address, so be sure to keep an eye on it (which you will be doing anyway because it effing rocks).
· The entry deadline is June 15, 2010. Clock's ticking!
As the rules state, "Many will enter, only one (1) will win." And seeing as it can't be me, I'm pulling for you. Good luck!

Have the changed anything? I quit mail.com about 3 months ago because it completely sucked. Besides being fundamentally inferior, they have the most annoying and prominent banner ads "1 weird old tip from a Mom that will make you lose 10 pounds!"
Can't vouch for the banner ads, but they've changed in the wonderful sense that it's giving away $5,000! That's change we can believe in.
