· Tucked into his interview with actress Kim Dickens, AV Club writer Steve Heisler happens to mention, "I was an extra in The Lake House when Sandra Bullock was in it, and we were told that we were not allowed to make eye contact with her unless she initiated the eye contact." In all fairness, I wouldn't want people looking at me if I made that movie, either.

How do you know someone is initiating eye contact if you're not allowed to make eye contact?
that's such bulls***. sandra bullock is one of the nicest people in the world who is full of so much love. stupid extra probably is just jealous of sandra's success.
I sorta know how Sandra feels. I could not make eye contact with anyone as I was slinking out of the theater after watching "Lake House".
I wonder if the eye contact thing was on Sandra's request or the director's request. I imagine if this was a common Sandra Bullock request, we would have heard about it plenty by now.
