What's On: Sly Foxx
When Jamie Foxx joins the American Idol contestants for a day of mentorship, commiseration, solidarity, and too many stupid handshakes, how will the four remaining kids fare? Without Aaron Kelly to kick around anymore, the others may have to start (and this a revelatory idea for a few of them) trying. Oh, rapture! Note: The theme tonight tonight does not allow for Crystal Bowersox to sing "Blame It on the A-A-A-A-Alcohol." So don't ask.
American Idol [Fox, 8 PM]
The final four take on songs from the movies after guest mentor Jamie Foxx gives quips to the camera like, "Crystal's gonna knock this one out of the park," or "Big Mike gets really annoying when he sings the Bee Gees," etc. Is the Crystal-Lee final two a sure thing? Or will dark horse Casey James mosey through with a guitar-case full of scheming ambition?
V [ABC, 10 PM]
Erica gets in touch with someone who may have invented a weapon that freaks out the Vs. This is the perfect opportunity for the gimmicky, Shyamalan-esque V weakness to be revealed. They're intolerant to... APPLES! Can't wait to see the big apple gun rip some lizard flesh.
Dancing with the Stars [ABC, 8 PM]
Either Chad Ochocinco, Niecy Nash, Erin Andrews, Evan Lysacek, or Nicole Scherzinger goes home, and dance troupes from Purdue University and the University of California San Diego square off in front of a madly gyrating Bruno Tonioli, who will wear a letterman jacket.
The Craft [E!, 8 PM]
Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, and Fairuza Balk form a '90s trio of unprecedented power in this film about teens practicing witchcraft. No one did angst quite as believably as Neve, who -- in real life -- wants to be left alone too. Method!
