Meet Angus T. Jones and 10 Other Underage TV Actors Who Make More Money Than You

While your nephew goes door-to-door this month advertising his $8 per hour grass-cutting business, consider Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones, who at the pimply age of 16, is pulling down about $250,000 per episode of his hit CBS sitcom. That means that after memorizing one-liners for this season's 22 episodes, Jones will have earned over $5 million. Click through for more proof that life is unfair, in the form of 10 high-earning underage actors.

Wow...After reading that Cyrus only gets $15k per ep for the cash cow that "Hannah Montana" is (compared to others on the list) I can see why she's out the door soon.

  • anon says:

Yeah, I'm no fan of Cyrus (or, really, any of these kids), but how in the world did the iCarly chick get such a sweet deal? Is her mom sleeping with the producer or something? Cyrus is by far a bigger name.
Maybe it's a Disney policy of not paying too much to underage performers and Nick has no such self-imposed restriction?

  • Josh says:

I love Miranda Cosgrove, and think iCarly is easily the best kids show on TV by far, but how the hell does she make that much money? Angus is on a hit network TV show, so that makes sense but the Post article doesn't talk at all about how (the deserving) Cosgrove makes so much.

It's actually 10% for their agents, plus 10-15% for their managers, plus another 5% for their lawyers. And Miranda should hire Miley's publicist, too -- she can afford it. iCarly is a huge money maker for Nick.
