Lady Gaga vs. American Idol
Believe it or not, there was one artist on Wednesday night's American Idol who was more disappointed with her performance than Little Aaron Kelly. Lady Gaga was dissatisfied to realize that her six-and-a-half minute mash-up of "Alejandro" and "Bad Romance" had been butchered and she took to Twitter to air her grievances: "FOX POORLY + AMATEURLY edited+cut my performance/musical arrangement on idol." Art? That song she tried to sing sounded a bit too much like Madonna's "La isla bonita"... Madonna's lawyers should look into that!
Bottom line: The song sucked. GaGa looked fat. The dancing at best looked like it belonged on some cheap cruise line late nite entertainment show. The whole thing was enough to put the audience to sleep. Don't blame the editing Lady. Blame the talent. Scrub the song.

Lady GAGA is very talented and i loved that number on American Idol.
GaGa is cornball. Yes, she seems to be able to play keys, and KIND OF sing, but overall her output is just severely watered down pop. And Idol is a pop show!
Madonna never had to try so hard.
She sucked big time. My husband's comment when he saw her on Idol was "It's a good thing she isn't competing, the judges would rip her apart". She is so overrated. If she has "talent" then why doesn't she get rid of all the stupid props and silly theatrics.
theres a reason that lady gaga's name sounds so much like gag me. she can't sing, she can't dance and she can't be taken seriously as an entertainer. how can anyone in thier right mind compare her to madonna? The inital shock of her outfits is wearing off...people are realizing that she can't sing. She proved that by singing, (or trying to sing) on a show that opens doors for talented amatures...She would have been thrown off long ago.
You're all nuts. I'm not even a Lady GaGa fan, or a pop music fan for that matter, but to deny that she's talented is just ignorant. She puts Alicia Keys to shame with her piano skills and vocal ability. Given, her AI performance was super sucky, I think mainly because "Alejandro" is by far one of the worst songs I have ever heard. But the show is her thing. She's an entertainer, hence the costumes and elaborate stage show. I don't blame her for being pissed about them editing the performance, and I believe AI has been seriously lacking in the integrity department this season. It's painfully obvious that the contestants are lip syncing in the opening medley's.
Lady Gaga is a fantastic singer. Her "The Fame" CD has a permanent place in the CD player in my car. I love the whole CD but Just Dance is my favorite song. The added Bahamian influenced rap by Colby O'Donis makes the song even more interesting. I also like Paparazzi, Love Game, and Poker Face. Since I'm listening to her songs without all the stage antics, I can really focus on her voice and I think she's great! My son gave the CD to me as a Christmas gift, along with the Beatles Greatest Hits, and I was quite surprised that I love the Gaga CD as much as I do. It makes me want to get up and dance! So if you look beyond the weird outfits you just might find a really talented singer.

GaGa has litlle talent to me she is trying to hard to be like madonna. what she should do is try to be her own person. The song she sang on idol was terrible I had turn the channel until the song was over.
Anyone can sound good on an album... it's called autotune.
But when she tries to sing live it's very obvious how limeted her voice really is.... pitchy and weak.
American Idol is a singing competition. They should invite stars to perform who can actually sing live - and they should sound better doing it than Tim Urban!
Hold your cards...we have a BINGO!! You can be the most talented person on the planet but if the song sucks from day one there's little you can to to overcome. It was horrible. The see-thru jacket she was wearing didn't help her stage performance. She should stick to the piano with vocals. The gimmicks can only go so far and then the yawns begin.

I would love to see all of you get up every day and do what she does. She is amazing and you are all jealous of her. She may be weird, but that is her thing and she is N.O.T. fat. At all. My 2 cents consist of this, i liked her until she wanted to use real corpses on her nexy tour. I mean really?!? Id expect that from Rob Zombie and would support that if it were him because thats his genera but shes just so weird that it seels records. Shes trying to stay noticed because if she didnt she'll just wash out.
Prediction of lady gaga, in 10 years no one will remember her, she'll have no money. AND she'll either be a stripper or converted back to a man.

I think Lady Gaga has every right to complain, she puts more effort into every performance and production than almost anyone i've seen. Her concert was so over the top it was like a concert and movie all in one. She sells out every arena, and might be the hottest concert in the world right now, so she should have some say in things.
