What's On: Word to Your Mother

We know Liz Lemon is getting acquainted with debonair pilot Matt Damon in 30 Rock's season finale, but you know what's more exciting? The show is bringing back their best guest actress for tonight's Mother's Day episode. Throw out your hip (and your other hip!) if you can guess who it is.

30 Rock [NBC, 9:30]

All hail this future-classic Mother's Day episode. Now returning to the fray: Liz's mother (Anita Gillette), Liz's mother (Jan Hooks!), and the granddaddy-mommy of them all, Jack's mother Colleen (Elaine. Effing. Stritch). Yes, Ms. Stritch arrives just in time to intervene with Jack's strange love life. Elizabeth Banks and Julianne Moore won't know what sassed them.

The Real Housewives of New York City [Bravo, 10 PM]

Jill and Alex spar at LuAnn's extra-classy charity event. LuAnn also reenters the dating scene after reflecting on what an arduous year she's had. Bethenny visits her sick father in Calfornia. Ramona looks shell-shocked for a change.

The Marriage Ref [NBC, 10 PM]

I tried not to do this, but come on: Gwyneth Paltrow is sitting on the panel. If she can debunk the splendor of the Kittenbox 3000, she's surely a whiz at plebeian marriage problems. Jerry Seinfeld rejoins the discussion, and Greg Giraldo also makes his first appearance.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding [ABC Family, 8 PM]

It's been eight years, so it's probably safe to revisit MBFGW, one of the highest-grossing romantic comedies of all time. The plot barely exists, but the commentary on Greek culture is bountiful: They use Windex to fix everything! They're family-oriented! And they all have disgusting stories about the unborn twins they had removed from their neck. That still makes me shiver.
