Lost's Final Season Adds Shannon, Nadia, Everyone Who Has Ever Been On the Show

Has it blown your mind during the final season of Lost to see familiar, long-gone faces like Boone, Dr. Arzt, Helen, Frogurt, Claire, that one guy from that one episode, Rose, the pilot, Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia for some reason, and Bernard? Well, a pair of casting announcements today will scramble those blown-up mind pieces even further.

First up, showrunners Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse confirmed to EW that they have finally landed actress Maggie Grace to reprise her dearly departed character Shannon, who I think would really get along well with the equally bitchy Miles right now. And maybe it's not just a cameo? "We're really excited about having her back on the show and we have a good story for her," Cuse told EW. I hope that story involves Shannon graciously saying, "I'll just hang out in the background so you can give Sun more lines besides, 'I'm looking...for my husband. Is he on...this island?'"

Also! According to a message we just received from the publicist for actress Andrea Gabriel, Sayid's long-lost love Nadia will be returning, possibly to undo the dignity of being run over by a car near the West Hollywood Gateway.

Grace and Gabriel join a whole sheaf of ex-Losties coming back this season, including Harold Perrineau, Cynthia Watros, Jeremy Davies, and Rebecca Mader. If you're worried that this is going to overload a cast that's already full of regular characters begging for final season screentime, well, just stay in Jack's Time-Out Room for Toddlers and think about the costs of your insolence.

I keep waiting for some "Lost" theorist to make the connection between Rose and Bernard (L. Scott Caldwell & Sam Anderson) being an inter-racial couple much like Betty and Barney Hill.
Betty and Barney Hill were the famed couple (he black/she white) from NH who had a "lost time" experience with a UFO in NH in the early 60s.
    1. Betty ended up passing from cancer in 2004 and Rose has cancer in "Lost."
    2. Barney is a nickname for Bernard.
    3. They met during a snow storm in an origin episode (according to what I've read.)
Sure, this is all made up by me while drinking, but let's see how long it takes to become part of the "Lost theories" (which may very well already be the case.)
It's UFOs, I tell ya. UFOs!
