Notorious Phantom Menace Critic Unloads On Avatar
We're definitely fans of Mike Stoklasa, the meandering YouTube critic who expertly julienned The Phantom Menace a month ago, but Stoklasa's newest video isn't necessarily up to that high water mark. This time, the critic takes on Avatar, and whether he was hemmed in by available footage or the lack of time and distance, Stoklasa's case against the movie isn't particularly gut-busting (and there certainly are quite a few things in Avatar that could come in for a razzing). Still, it's nice to see an Avatar-prompted viral video in a world that has surprisingly few of them; isn't it a little odd that the internet seemed to be buzzing more about the movie before it came out than after it took the all-time box office crown? Both parts of Stoklasa's takedown, after the jump:

I'm not sure who this idiot is reviewing your movieline, but I can tell you he mastubates entirely to much on the NA'VI chicks and the shit's backing up in his brain and he's not looking at the same Avatar movie I saw. It was throughly enjoyable. It's fantasy. What moron didn't know that coming into the theatre? Oh, the one you let review your movies. What an ass. He's knocking the highest grossing movie of all time and you're letting his low IQ do it? Shame on you movieline. People should boycott this site for shear stupidity of letting that bozo spew on your site.
Any movie going person I've talked to enjoyed Avatar. PLEASE, pay me to review your movies. I can make alot more sense than the creep you just posted.
The bad movies I've seen as of late, that aren't in this review are Daybreakers and Legions. The Hills are Alive and every zombie movie we've ever seen was rehashed in these 2 films of no entertaiment value whatsoever. They wasted a few hours of my life. I came out of the theatre feeling financially violated for spending money, and in the case of Legion, waiting in line, to see a couple of real pieces of shit on the movie screen. I did however sneak into Lovely Bones while waiting on Daybreaker to start. What a great intro that movie has. I should have stayed seated then I would have only been downing one monkey and one movie in my comment here.
I haven't seen Avatar, but I also ask that you let 'Tranthum' review your movies (you know, when you get around to making them). PLEASE make the above person your "Comment of the Week."
Thanks James. Don't waste your money on the 3d, but do check out Avatar. Throughly enjoyable.
I totally disagree, if you don't see it in 3d its not really worth seeing. The story is the same old, its the great effects, 3d, and exceptional world that makes the movie great.
Why can't you knock the 'highest grossing movie of all time'? Sure it looked pretty, but it is so un-original in every way that I didn't enjoy it. Also, when adjusted for inflation, Avatar is only #26 right now.

I can overlook Avatar's Ferngully/Dances with Wolves/Pocohontas storyline because while watching it, I never once looked at my watch...for a 2hr40 minute film, the visuals and basic story kept me engaged. That speaks volumes.
I was taken out of the movie twice by avoidable sloppiness which I consider to be this movies only negatives, and I'm going by memory here, so please correct me if I'm wrong (which I'm sure you won't hesitate to do)
Wow.. This movie had just about everything you
look for when watching a movie. The end has you
wondering however.
Whatever people may say,,,but still this movie shouldn't be scrutinized....
It definitely has anentertaining streak in it......
I totally agree with the opinion that the movie was worth watching...it doesn't deserves criticism and scrutiny at all!!!
Wow !!!This movie had everything in it that the audience longs for.....In 3-d ,i think it is just going to burst our minds....
