Why it never saw the light of day may never be fully known, but it's widely believed that Cameron's own ardent objections were what ultimately sank the project.

For the love of Xenu I hope that's a joke.
But being the cynical type, I'm surprised Cameron didn't go for it.

  • DHE says:

What I really want to see is the District 9 holiday special.

  • el smrtmnky says:

hometree kush will go well with this

  • Furious D says:

The Aliens VS Predator Holiday special!
Now I'd pay to see that!

  • Old No.7 says:

Too bad that Bea Arthur passed away before she could reprise her role as Ackmena the Bartender.

  • Aaron says:

There is no way this isn't a joke. If this is a real Fox memo, the writer and anyone who responded favorably to it should be dismissed for sheer stupidity.

  • Bob says:

This is obviously a joke. You can tell just by looking at the formatting, before you even read it.
And if you do read it, then you should be able to tell that the description of "Mr. Cameron's" response is obviously not something that would appear in this document if it were serious.
Other things that make it obvious to non-retards that this memo is a bad joke:
"290-inch 3-D flatscreens," "I'CEE and Y'IU" ("I see you?" How is that funny at all?), and the use of capital letters for no apparent reason.
This isn't funny, and I'm not going to read another page of it.
