Trauma Canceled
If there's one disaster the Trauma team won't be able to recover from, it's the show's ratings underperformance. The Monday night series has just been canceled, making it NBC's first official fall termination (that is, if you don't count the network snuffing Southland in its crib). The expensive show never pulled in ratings to match its cost, and NBC has Chuck waiting in the wings to take its place. Sorry, guys! At least your outdoor ad campaign was kind of cool. [THR]

I think it's really too bad that this show is cancelled because it was one of my favorites. I guess today's public is more interested in seeing foolish reality shows instead of shows that actually benefits the general public.
What the What! I was actually getting into Trauma and beginning to wonder when it would be back after the Christmas hiatus. I don't know what NBC is doing, but again; what the what! I became very worried when they announced Leno would gobble up the 10/9C slot, which botched my favorite show, Southland. I temporarily breathed a sigh of relief when I saw NBC's tentative Spring schedule which listed Southland, but then I started seeing TNT run ads for Southland, then again I said, what the what! At least Southland will be on TNT! As for Leno screwing everything up, I say ax Leno or push him behind Conan, I'll take Conan any day of the week over Leno.
I can't even believe it! WTH! I hope another station picks up this show--- even cable- What a HUGE mistake!
