Buzz Break: A-Team Comes Together

ATEAM_REV_01_10-10-09.jpg

· It's the first picture of our new A-Team! From left to right, we've got Bradley Cooper, Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson, District 9's Sharlto Copley, Liam Neeson, and a cigar. Click for bigger.

· Jude Law and Robert De Niro are not going to be in Thor, though the door is still open for Dominic Cooper.

· Breach director Billy Ray has been picked to steer Columbia Pictures' movie about this year's Somali pirate hostage situation.

· Despite the fact that he's clearly the male lead of An Education, Peter Sarsgaard's planning to campaign for a supporting actor Oscar.

· Instead of asking executives to meet with new actors in person, Fox is casting its pilots through screen tests alone. It's much easier to say, "Too fat, next," when the person isn't actually there.

Very unexpected crew of actors may I add

  • don says:

going to be terrible. Quinton Rampage jackson? really? All he know how to do is make fun of people with titties.

  • Steve says:

This reminds me very much of a Left 4 Dead poster...

  • Mr. T says:

    Rampage is a Tool.

  • jay says:

I'd rather eat my own crap than see this movie. Quinton Jackson can barely complete an intelligible thought let alone pull of anything close to the awesomeness that is Mr. T.

  • Boxcar says:

Not knowing much about Rampage myself, I'll give him that he looks the part pretty well. Bradley Cooper is exactly the man I would have pegged to take over for Dirk Benedict. And Liam Neeson looks perfect! I wouldn't even have thought of him, but he's gonna rock it out.

  • Rampage sucks says:

Rampage will ruin this movie.. what a horrible casting job.

  • no says:

For God's sake, please stop making such idiotic movies and do something original. I wish the producers/directors knew how laughable this crap is.

  • Anth says:

Oh come on, how can they possibly emulate the giants that were the original A Team?
    There's only one Mr T!

  • Nah says:

They're asking him to play a character originally portrayed by Mr. T, not Sidney Poitier. He'll be fine.

  • JaBoO says:

They will remake anything now a days. Come on! Boo...
Besides, Rampage Jackson is a #1 A-Hole. I won't give him any of my money!

Here is my comedic dream cast:
    Murdock: Steve Buchemi
    Face: Steve Carell
    Hannibal: Steve Martin

  • I just returned from watching this movie, and frankly, I didn't even know it was a story taken from an earlier series until I wikipedia-ed it just now. That being said, the expectations and sensitivities in a fan of the original series is non-existent in me, so this is purely based on what I felt about the movie itself.

  • I saw the trailer for this with my brother before Ironman 2, and I joked, "Hey! It's that Battlefield: Bad Company movie they're making!"
He was all, "Oh shit, it is! I didn't know they were making a Bad Company movie! This looks awesome!"
After the A-Team logo flashed at the end, he was like, "Wait... what?!"
