Exiting FlashForward Showrunner Can't Remember Where the Last 12 Episodes of His Life Went
There's been a major reversal at the top levels of the FlashForward writers table, as co-showrunner/EP Marc Guggenheim has departed the ABC series, leaving duties for the show's back-nine order to series creator, David Goyer. Goyer, a scifi and fantasy writer who's penned the Blade series and Christopher Nolan's Batman films, was considered less of a known factor in series TV, and was paired with the more experienced Guggenheim, who has mulitple series under his belt, including Law & Order, CSI: Miami, Brothers & Sisters and Eli Stone.
THR reports that Guggenheim was just on board for the initial 12-episode order, while AICN suggests something more acrimonious is at foot, with the network disatisfied with the meandering and uncompelling storytelling that's unfurled since the pilot. I've lost track of the show pretty quickly, much as I did with another ABC Lost-alike, The Nine. Perhaps we should all just close our eyes for 137 seconds and pretend none of this ever happened.

Knowing ABC, they'll bring in the writing team from Life on Mars, and the final episode will reveal that all the characters were actually inhabitants on somebody's Tivo, when the owner's 3 year-old grabbed the remote and hit the >> button.
I had a vision of this show...It was Thursday October 22, and the whole world had lost all interest in it.
Maybe Blade will now have a cameo! I wondered what HE was thinking when the world had their flashforward.
Hilarious! Funny the vision came to me too. Must be a sign.
I just watched the 1st ep. today and thought was sooo good!! Too bad 🙁
