Comments
Three of three adults attending this show gave it thumbs down. The plot centers around a highly imaginative child who is lonely and feeling out of touch. He throws a tantrum and runs away to the imaginary land where he is made king of the wild creatures who share his low self esteem and anger management issues. The children sitting nearby may have enjoyed the mud ball fights and destruction of personal property; we did not. I doubt the children understood the consequences of the violence as it was too subtle. Ultimately the young man discovered that there was no place like home and family and returned home. The Wizard of Oz was far more entertaining and clearly expressed the learning objectives. This movie did neither. It was a waste of our time and money and left us feeling bad. The trailers are misleading. We do not recommend this movie for anyone of any age.
Oh, lawsy! The learning objectives weren't clearly expressed in this movie! I bet Law Abiding Citizen's learning objectives were clearly expressed. I'm sure they expressed the living fuck out of those learning objectives in that movie. Maybe you should have taken your kids to see that, instead?
Lighten up, Frances.
holy shit i cant stop laughing
