Justin Long Plays 'My Favorite Scene' with Movieline
Justin Long, the affable star of Jeepers Creepers, Drag Me to Hell, and He's Just Not That Into You, breezed down the carpet at this week's premiere of Whip It, but he stopped to speak with Movieline about his favorite scene in film history. Plus, he had the obsessive impersonation skills to back up his choice. His beacon of '80s goodness is revealed after the jump.
"Favorite scene in movie history," Long said. "There'd be so many from Back to the Future. I can't pick one. Maybe when Doc comes back for the first time with Einstein and Marty goes, 'Jesus Christ, Jesus Christ, Doc, you disintegrated Einstein!' I love that moment. I worked on the impression a little bit. I grew up idolizing him just a little too much. There are also great Woody Allen moments -- but that's a good question."
A perfectly laudable answer! And certainly a better choice than in Back to the Future II when Biff beats up Lorraine. That hit my Catholic household and my viewing privileges at well over 88 m.p.h.

"...disintegrated Einstein."
That's the second instance I've seen of this alleged BTTF superfan incorrectly citing the film in a public forum. (The first was on an episode of VH1's "I Love the '80s" in which Long he stated that the DeLorean's required speed to achieve time travel was 85 miles per hour.) Tsk, tsk.
Hey, what the...? Didn't the quote read "incinerated" a few minutes ago, or am I not fully awake yet?
Now I look all stoopid on the internet.
(But my second claim stands firm.)
My Favorite Scene with Justin Long will be the one where PC guy finally grows a set and puts his foot up his ass.
Pull down those trousers, Justin. I have to see if your last name is just a coincidence.
