Our Commenters of the Week Get Their Nangoes Fandangoed!

Fandango.jpg

We were away in San Diego last Friday and this edition of Comment of the Week has been a long time coming, but what a prize to be won: a first-class Fandangoing of your nango, administered by Fandango himself! What can you expect from the experience? Well, it will be quiet, and it may even be a little unnerving, but once our Comic-Con mascot gets down to business, your nango will be so Fandangoed that you won't even recognize it anymore. So who are our winners?

Bourgeois Nerd on Mickey Rourke and Sylvester Stallone Bond Over Ink in New Expendables Photo: "Someone, somewhere is masturbating to this photo. I just hope to God I never meet that someone and never visit that somewhere."

Jimmy James Monkey Death on Movieline Presents the Never-Before-Seen Concept Art For Warner Bros.' Thundercats: "Snarf was always my favorite of the late 80's onomatopoetically named sidekicks."

Lowbrow on In Theaters: The Ugly Truth: "In keeping with her trend of continually devolving, Heigl is already on board to star in next year's sure-fire romcom blockbuster. Entitled She's So Potty!, Heigl will be playing the role of lowly high school janitor. Downtrodden, hackneyed, but never losing faith in love..or herself. And then magic. She soon falls head over heels for John - a urinal in the boy's locker room (which she lovingly cleans after-hours). At first her girlfriends give her flack about her new beau, but ridicule soon turns to thinly-veiled envy as John turns out to be a flush above any other man they've ever known. He's convenient, sturdy, and always has a fresh deodorizer block in his basin. Heigl almost throws it all away though, when she is caught at a local Elephant Bar with Shimpei, an exotic bidet from Japan she used to chat with online years ago that has recently moved to her neighborhood. Through tears, montages, & more than a few Brillo pads - she realizes true love. But will John still give a crap?"

Mildred Rimmer on Meet the Saddest Costumed Man at Comic-Con: "Kevin Costner didn't look anything like that in Fandango. They even got the necklace wrong. I liked the mailman movie better. They should have done that."

Juancho on BREAKING: Ben Silverman Out at NBC Universal: "In light of Silverman's departure, Reveille has changed its name to Taps."

Congrats to al!
