If I was there I would've stepped to Spider woman, She fills that suit nicely.
Just gotta take out Thor and the Magneto. For her, not problem.
I see wolverine had a haircut, and that kid has some big feet.

Get a life people! Get a life! I cannot believe we have people with the minds of children who are still interested in comics!

  • QASIMALI BAIG says:

    It's funny and exciting

  • Mike says:

At least this event gets some of these guys out of their parents' basement even if only for awhile LOL. Dualy noted some celebs in the pics... Mila Kunis and Jimmy Fallon.

  • Krist says:

Rosario (and all those who think similarly)- There are plenty of weirdos who paint their bodies the colors of their favorite sports team and stand around in below freezing temperatures screaming slogans at people who can't hear them. Yet somehow they are more accepted than these folks who are also just trying to show support for their favorite characters. Just like "legitimate" literature, comics can either be escapist fantasy, or thought-provoking social commentary. Stories, just like any printed-word novel, written by serious writers. All accompanied by fantastic artwork by talented, dedicated artists! The folks who come to these conventions find a bond, a camaraderie, through their shared enthusiasm for this particular form of art and entertainment. (and as you can see, there are A LOT of them! No small minority, they!) If they can embrace a child-like enthusiasm for the imagined, why should you show such child-ish distain for something you don't care to take the time to understand?

  • Sucrose says:

Having hobbies IS part of having a life. Comics and conventions are exciting escapes from the lame reality that we live in as well as from the people who constantly make fun of us in our daily lives. Just because we don't go get drunk to have fun in our free time doesn't mean that we have "the minds of children." Perhaps it is yourself who needs to get a life and explore other interests instead of criticizing and making it seem like all comics are for little kids.

  • Brilliant Orange says:

Get a life? You're the one taking time out of your day to tell strangers we're all crazy, WHICH IS SOMETHING ONLY A CRAZY PERSON WOULD DO. So shut the fuck up, and go collect some more recyclables, crazy-ass.

  • Stephan says:

"I cannot believe we have people with the minds of children who are still interested in comics!"
And some even write BA Thesis on comics then move on to doing PhD's on cartoons doing research in major Universities... and even get scholarship for that...
Personally I always thought it more mature to accept the kid within instead of totally rejecting it.
I always can't help feeling a bit of overcompensation from people so openly rejecting something they don't quite understand. What's it to you? Why does it bother you that some people are actually brave enough to openly live out their passion despite what good politically correct average people think? Frustrated cuz mommy didn't let you read comics as a kid?
No you're right, let all think average, dress average, moderatly enjoy average past times and lead average life. So much more interesting...
Thank you Stan, George, Neil and the others to keep kids alive despite their actual age.

  • David says:

Stop making fun of these "special" individuals. They are escaping reality because they yearn for individuality (albeit in the form of something they are duplicating). They are the people who were picked on in school who went home crying to mommy that they didn't fit in. Leave'em alone. If they want to act childish and play pretend, I say let'em. When they're done they can go back to selling cell phones and programming PCs. God bless this secret society of lesser humans. David

  • Bark says:

Forget those two, what the hell is Gary Oldman doing there?

  • Tom says:

I thought the same thing, get a life. Then I thought who are we to talk, we're reading this crap.

  • MCU says:

That's one of the best explanations/justifications of the whole Comic-Con/costume thing I've ever read. Mind you, I think the people who paint themselves in team colors and stand cheering in the stands are idiots, too.
But still, one of the best. Well done.

  • Dors feline says:

you must have had a very sad childhood to not love comics and still love comics i feel very sorry for you.

  • Al Williams III says:

I come from both worlds I am a sports fanatic and I also love comic books and see the awesome benefit of reading. So manyt kids now and days grow up too fast wondering when they can start drinking, smoking and having sex before they realize the real consequences behind those popular activities among the youth now and days. So for people who are blindly against Comic-con or comic books in general step off because I'm sure that at some point has poked fun of something you hold dear or watch faithfully ...American Idol?

  • Lowbrow says:

    Wolverine's boyfriend is hot.
