So She Thinks She Can Dance
On So You Think You Can Dance's 100th episode tonight, Katie Holmes gets another chance to endear herself to America with a special dance routine. In the last 10 years, she has gone from the girl next door to the girl next to the world's (allegedly) weirdest celebrity, but she never stops trying. Let's hope the SYTYCD judges go easy on her, because even if Holmes was the second coming of Anna Pavlova, the Internet would still bring the hate.
So You Think You Can Dance [9 PM, Fox]
Trying to fill Judy Garland's ruby slippers is a tall order, but Katie Holmes is at it tonight, performing an homage to the legendary star of stage and screen. The results are also in for last night's performances, but a special honor should go to Ellen DeGeneres for rocking that tight new 'do and sitting between Nigel Lythgoe and Mary Murphy without earplugs or heavy sedation.
Samantha Who? [8:30 PM, ABC]
In the series finale, Samantha (Christina Applegate) has to choose between good guy Todd (Barry Watson) and the standard rich alternative Funk (Billy Zane). Andrea (Jennifer Esposito) gets married, but this is a funeral not a wedding. Applegate may have been nominated for an Emmy again, but this is another female lead comedy falling by the wayside of primetime.
The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien [11:35 PM, NBC]
Guests: Zach Galifianakis, Keke Palmer, Jason Aldean. While we love that Zach Galifianakis is blowing up, we will miss the days when his appearances on Conan involved a piano and a sequence of deftly solved joke puzzles ("You know what I realized the other day? You cannot fax acid."). Hopefully, he becomes the type of sitdown guest who prepares material or shoots special taped pieces for his appearances.
Heartbreakers [9 PM, Lifetime]
Even though Lifetime is all about female empowerment and creating a safe space for women, this tale of conwomen and the men who fall in love with them does not fit the mold. Jennifer Love Hewitt delivers the best comedic performance of her career as Sigourney Weaver's daughter, a confident young woman who makes a huge mistake: falling in love with the mark. This might not help you get through a divorce, but now you can save those tears for the next personal crisis.

Comments
After Katie's performance, for a surprise treat, a couch will be wheeled out on stage and Tom will emerge to jump the shit out of it.
Mary Murphy will then proceed to bestow upon Tom a lifetime pass aboard the Hot Tamale Train.
