· If you're keeping score at home, Denzel Washington appears to have emerged from the salary-diva locker room to resume play on Unstoppable, Fox's beloved but troubled runaway-train thriller. Tony Scott welcomed the star back into the fold on Wednesday, planting him in the dugout next to rookie sensation Chris Pine until the season begins this fall in Pittsburgh. Remember to stretch, Denzel! [Variety]

Len Wiseman withstands a Shrapnel barrage, Tyler Perry adds to his fortune, and much more Hollywood Ink after the jump.

· Who's excited for the next Len Wiseman film? I said, "Who's! Excited! For the next Len Wiseman film?!?" Come on! I know it's early, but put your hands together for Shrapnel, his forthcoming comic-book adaptation to be produced by Radical Pictures. I can't heeeaaar you!!! [THR]

· Tyler Perry's House of Payne received an order from TBS for another 46 episodes, partly to satiate syndication demand and partly just to make the principals on Cheers, Friends and other, less prolific sitcoms feel like irredeemable slackers. At a projected 172 episodes in four seasons (and $250 million in revenue to date), I think it's working. THR]

· Ben Silverman told a conference audience on Wednesday that NBC has has yet to close deals with many of the advertisers who attended its upfronts last spring. Can you help with that, Jay Leno? No? OK, then. [The Wrap]

· The cheesy '70s TV cult classic UFO will soon be the far-less-cheesy '00s movie cult classic UFO, if visual effects maven-turned-rookie director Matthew Gratzner has anything to say about it. [Variety]

· Remember that whole L.A. production crisis from a few months ago? You'd better; with local shoots this year down 25 percent from 2008 numbers, it's not going away any time soon. [THR]
