You Will Die Presents: Richie Cunningham, AARP Monthly Coverboy

Pictured is the July/August issue of AARP The Magazine, featuring Ron Howard on its cover. I'll admit to having initially recoiled at seeing Hollywood's Official Kid Brother for five decades running smiling alongside such coverlines as "Tennis Balls are For Tennis!: Buy a Better Walker" and "Fiber -- It's Not Just For Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Anymore," but the Angels & Demons director/Posse Member #6 seems fully comfortable with the notion of getting older. "I want to do this until I drop," he told them. "When John Huston was directing his last movie, he was in a wheelchair and on oxygen. That's my idea of a good goal." Fair enough, but I'd say we have some catching up to do. We'll start your on three packs of filterless Camels a day and work up from there. [People]

I look forward to getting old and all the joy it can bring. Sure there's back pain, but you can hit small children with your walker or cane. You may eat dinner at 4pm, but you're also stealing the silverware and putting dinner rolls in your purse. You can also wear sweatpants to the grocery store and fart in public. It's the good life, truly. Oh hell, I do all that now.

The "Confessions of a Facebook Addict" headline at the top of the magazine is a joke right? You guys photoshopped that in? Old people don't know how to use the computer! LOLZ!
Actually, that's not true. My mom is 74 and she can put a disc into the hard drive and play Scrabble. And once I caught her trying to download beefcake photos of Robert Conrad. Or maybe that was other way around? I can't really remember. Time makes fools of us all!
P.S. Seth -- "tennis balls are for tennis" made my morning.
