Casey Wilson the Latest SNLer to Wring a Skit Out of Being Hated
Most comedians can handle a heckle or two, but there's something about the anonymous nature of online feedback that seems to drive Saturday Night Live alums to distraction. Casey Wilson is the latest SNLer to rebut her harshest critics (and tape it for our intended amusement), but there's something awfully familiar about this Funny or Die sketch:
Oh yeah! It's almost exactly the same as this clip from last year where Jimmy Fallon faced a dark night of the soul after being confronted by mean commenters. It's even got the same sad interlude:
And if they'd had the internet back in Bill Murray's first season at SNL, no doubt, it would have factored into this famous skit:
In summation, my carefully considered advice to famous, thin-skinned comedians is this: deactivate the fucking Google alert and go to the park or something.
