Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams to Indie Mindmeld
· Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams will costar in Blue Valentine, an indie drama about a failing marriage. This is terrible news for Spike Jonze. [Variety]
· Oh, how the mighty have fallen in Pilot Wars. It's now official: David E. Kelley's Legally Mad and Dick Wolf's Lost & Found have both been passed upon by NBC, and there's no plans to shop them elsewhere. The third bridesmaid, Off Duty, will be redeveloped. Over at ABC, V and Limelight got mixed reviews, but the rodent-chugging reptilian aliens of the former struck a personal chord in executives, who haven't pulled the plug yet. Contenders at the other networks:
Fox: Human Target, Past Life and Brothers
CBS: the NCIS spinoff, The Good Wife and Accidentally on Purpose at CBS
The CW: Melrose Place and Vampire Diaries [THR]
· Jerry Bruckheimer is taking a break from polishing Jake Gyllenhaal's abs to a high sheen with a car buffer to focus on this gaming development partnership with MTV, hiring away Microsoft's lead Halo exec and a Ubisoft veteran to run Jerry Bruckheimer Games Studio F**k Yeah. [Variety]
· You know, we were just saying to ourselves, "Why isn't there a big screen version of American Gladiators?" It's like God was launching foam torpedoes at our heads via air-cannon. [Variety]
· Joel Silver's Dark Castle is set to remake 1965 William Castle-directed crank-call thriller I Saw What You Did and I Know Who You Are!, which may or may not be updated for the digital age with the addition of a Google Image Search plot element (as envisioned by these internet Photoshop artistes). As for who will play the Joan Crawford part, that really depends on who's in the mood for some slumming. Kyra Sedgwick? Joan Allen? [Variety]
· Kevin Costner is developing a four-hour western for A&E, scripted by Open Range writer Armyan Bernstein, about a post-Civil War conflict in the settlement of the West. Costner will executive produce, might direct, and may even star in it. We now invite you to try your hand at this Post-Civil War Westward Expansion A.P. American History quiz. It's harder than you might think! [THR]

Didn't Hot Shots: Part Deux already tackle The Eliminator on the big screen?
I think it would be a real shame if USA Network didn't give "Lost & Found" a shot. It has everything it takes to be a huge hit, including great scripts, brilliant actors and a very meaningful subject.
Let's hope they hear the fans' mobilization to get it to the air : http://www.lostandfound-online.com
