How to Nerd Out In Preparation for the Lost Finale

So we were supposed to bring you an interview with Lost's Elizabeth Mitchell this week, but her cruel overlords at ABC are cracking down on the cast's press in advance of tomorrow night's season finale, worried that too many spoilers might leak out. I'm already terrified enough by the prospect that the pilot-booking Mitchell might not survive Season 5 (and if you know any spoilers, don't you dare tell me), and without a Juliet in front of me to hurl questions at, my Lost nerdmania is in overdrive. Here are a couple of Lost links to get you in the same lather I am:

· Though Mitchell may be mum, producers have sent reliable press stalwart Michael Emerson out for a round of interviews. Typically, the actor is as mysterious and intriguing as his villainous Ben, but Emerson's dropped a few panic-making bon mots on this press tour: claiming that the finale will make you eat your soul (!), fretting that the last act is so out-there, he doesn't even understand how the show will come back from it for Season 6, and musing that even when it does, he's not sure how long his character could possibly survive it.

· ABC has released several clips from the two-hour finale, entitled "The Incident." The funnest way to watch these is to pretend this is your first introduction to the show -- devoid of five seasons' worth of careful context-building, these lines are hilarious. Try it!

· Still missing Jeremy Davies as the deceased Daniel Faraday? This oughta help.

· The recipe for Dharma fish biscuits (which Sayer memorably munched on in Season 3) is seriously tempting me. I think the round of eye-rolls incurred tomorrow at my Lost party may be worth it. I mean, the round of eye-rolls incurred for a reason besides actually having a Lost party.

· Speaking of Season 3, this eerie subliminal message seems awfully prescient now, doesn't it?

I'm so worried about Jules. Hopefully she will survive. And hopefully you will interview Elizabeth.
