Anna Kendrick Suspected in New Moon Script Dump
A St. Louis salon owner on Monday unexpectedly found her place in Twilight-saga lore. Even more surprising: She found it in a trash bin. And she might have young actress Anna Kendrick to thank for it.
The AP report documenting the discovery doesn't ever say what Casey Ray was doing digging in the garbage, only that she located discarded copies of scripts for both New Moon and a project called Memoirs in a local trash receptacle. She returned them to their respective studios in exchange for Moon premiere tickets (but only after, her lawyer tastefully said, she "considered leaking them to a national tabloid").
By then the search was on for how the scripts found their ways to St. Louis -- and Vulture didn't have to look very far: Kendrick, who appeared in Twilight and is tabbed to return for the sequel currently shooting in Vancover, has been in the Gateway City making Up in the Air with George Clooney and Jason Reitman. (We're still waiting for the Memoirs evidence to drop.) Meanwhile, the actress's rep said Kendrick "wouldn't have left scripts lying around." Which, I think, is exactly the point: At least she cleans up after herself.

I'm assuming, based on the lawyer's involvement, that there are probably some pretty sweet accommodations and First Class Air provided along with a hefty "Per Diem" in order to get this thing squashed from public view.
All that and she gets her "15 Minutes" of fame too by having her discovery leaked to the press.
It's a good day for Casey Ray.

Totally plausible. After the West End and the Arch there's nothing to do in St. Louis but go through dumpsters.
All very intriguing, but why is a rodent pictured along with the story? Is that a possible Stuart Little love interest?
As a special "thank you", Casey has been hired as Kendrick's hair stylist for the film. The studio stated, "We're thinking of going shorter. Much, much shorter."
