Zach Galifianakis Not Afraid to Ask Natalie Portman the Hard Questions

When the topic of Zach Galifianakis comes up in conversation in Hollywoodish circles, it doesn't take long for terms like "comedy messiah" and "bearish Zeus ruling mightily atop Mt. Funny-lympus" to start being tossed about. His online celebrity talk show Between Two Ferns is a pretty good indication of why.

In the latest episode, Galifianakis scores a booking coup by featuring Ivy League-educated screen beauty and frequent shameless come-on target Natalie Portman as his guest. Things starts promisingly enough, as Zach rattles off her many accomplishments with an almost James Liptonesque fervor. But they quickly begin to unravel when Portman's dog Whiz wanders into the proceedings, then proceeds to roll onto his back and tempt the host with its little terrier boy-parts. I don't dare spoil the single best moment for you, however -- a spit take-inducing question that I'm seriously considering having tattooed across my lower back.
