Brooke Shields Wants No Part of Kiefer Sutherland's Designer-Headbutting Excuse

Publicists for both Kiefer Sutherland and Proenza Schouler designer Jack McCullough have clammed up since their headbutting altercation at a party two nights ago, but a rep for Brooke Shields says she's less than happy about being dragged into the middle of this fight club. Which story does she appear to be siding with?

The one coming from McCullough's camp, which posits that Shields was uninvolved and that the attack by Sutherland was unprovoked. "Nothing happened to her," Shields's rep said to TMZ. "Jack did nothing inappropriate. It's not clear what caused Kiefer to do what he did."

Page Six backs up that version, noting that Sutherland had exhibited some erratic behavior and strange fashion choices earlier that night: "He was running around wearing a giant feather boa and acting totally crazy. He was dancing feverishly and twirling people around all over the place. He seemed to be quite intoxicated."

TMZ's law enforcement sources appear to be on Sutherland's side, though -- they say that Shields was definitely involved, and their eyewitnesses claim that McCullough pushed her, which instigated the confrontation with Sutherland.

Either way, it's bad news for all involved -- and especially problematic for the 24 star, who's still on probation in Los Angeles thanks to his DUI two years ago.
