Our Commenters of the Week Win a Date with Shia LaBeouf's Mom!
In the three short weeks since we resurrected Movieline, you've enthralled us with your real time feedback. So much so, in fact, that we felt it was time to start acknowledging and rewarding the best of the bon mots to appear in our commenting section. So without further ado, we'd like to call to order the first gala presentation of the Movieline Commenty Awards! Each winner will receive an engraved trophy (a 12-inch sculpture of a unisex office worker hunched over a computer monitor snickering to his or herself as they take a bite of a Hostess Donette, cast in the finest pewter), and a special prize. In this case: a date with the sexiest ethereal angel on the planet, Shia LaBeouf's mom! Our winners are after the jump.

I'm so glad you guys are doing this! I missed the pressure, the night sweats, the almost weekly disappointment. Seriously! And now that I'm unemployed, I can pretend thinking up witty comments to try to win one week is my way of contributing to society.
Yeah, I guess I can stop writing someecards and really focus on my commenting.
Nice move! Now us self-promoting bastards have purpose, again!
(somewhere Nick Denton just felt a small but growing pain in his ass)
Mrs. LaBeouf looks like a dirty gypsy, and I love dirty gypsies.
Oh, fine. So you have to actually POST something? Great.
you're the commenter of the week in my heart all the time, mintzy.
Giddy thinking the stars may return, next (yes, I was under-distinguished throughout my school years. Oh, and in real-now-life, too). Desperation's not pretty is it? Oh HELLO Lisa Rinna, you're here too?
there's got to be something better than stars, that would remind us of how defamer judas'd us all. silver sledgehammers maybe?
