Per the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the scene in question featured Bane (Hardy) using explosives and henchmen to take over a game between the Gotham Rogues (the fictional Steelers, in this case) and the Rapid City Monuments just after kickoff. Bane then brings a hostage out to the field, makes a threatening announcement to the assembled citizens of Gotham and does... something. What happens at the end of the scene is not immediately clear, perhaps (just wildly speculating here) because Nolan knew this would leak out and didn't want the climax to get spoiled along with everything else. For what it's worth, the Post-Gazette does report that the scene in question is a "flashback." Do with that information what you will.
The biggest actual reveal from the Heinz Field shoot on Saturday? Hardy's Bane voice, which sounds completely preposterous out of context -- like some Scooby-Doo villain on helium. Also, is The Dark Knight Rises going to feature more day-set scenes than both Batman Begins and The Dark Knight put together? Judging from the last two weeks of Pittsburgh spy pics, apparently so.
