If she's Drew Barrymore, she gets behind the camera for "Our Deal," a new music video from the band Best Coast. And she brings Chloe Moretz, Tyler Posey, Miranda Cosgrove, Donald Glover, Alia Shawkat, a lot of leather and spray paint and the legacy of West Side Story with her. The synopsis from MTV, where the full-length "Supervideo" debuted this morning:
While Lucky (Tyler Posey) hails from the Day Trotters graffiti crew, Veronica (Chloe Moretz) is from rival gang the Night Creepers. As they fall in love one day, they are torn apart by the gangs' rivalry and the unfortunate beating of fellow Night Creeper (Miranda Cosgrove) led by Day Trotters (Donald Glover and Shailene Woodley). This begins a turf war that ends tragically for the two lovers.
A-ha. But don't stop Barrymore if you've heard this one before; the surf-streaked, girl-group-tinged tune is pretty sweet, and holy shit Chloe Moretz is really only 14? She looks like a part-time bartender in her last semester of cosmetology school.
Anyway. This is good. Don't be a stranger, Drew!
