New Black Swan Behind-the-Scenes Clip Shows Special Effects of Natalie Portman's Performance

Now that ballerina Sarah Lane has jeopardized the legacy of Natalie Portman's Oscar-winning flaps and caws in Black Swan, everyone on Team Portman seems hellbent on making this controversy go away -- even Mila Kunis! New video of the digital facial replacement technology that made Natalie's difficult swanning possible has surfaced, however, meaning that may be harder than anticipated.

Looks very similar to the work David Fincher did in The Social Network. Movieline posted a version of this backstage glimpse here before the Internet stole it back, and it's apparent that Portman did put a lot of effort into her role. Right. I'm not entirely sure how necessary it was for her to learn all the moves in an average Degas exhibition, but director Darren Aronofsky has long claimed that Portman's commitment to the role went above and beyond his expectations. Can we leave it at that? Forever? I'm ready to enjoy Bjork's wardrobe again.
