VIDEO: Are You Ready to Discuss the Greatest Films of Our Time?

OK, class, listen up! I don't generally assign homework, but this requires your attention: Something called Best in Film: The Greatest Movies of Our Time airs tonight at 9/8 central on ABC, promising the results of an "unprecedented collaboration between ABC News and People Magazine [that] gave movie fans the opportunity to vote online at abcnews.com and people.com for their favorite films of all time." Should be a hoot -- and you'd better believe we all are going to talk about it here Wednesday.

I'm not quite "sputtering and gagging and spitting at the computer screen," as some pundits are at the prospect of hosts Tom Bergeron and Cynthia McFadden awarding recognition for Best Musical, Best Sci-Fi Film, Best Chick Flick and the rest. Why get upset about it? This is going to be the funniest show of the night! Extra credit to those commenters who correctly predict the number of Disney/Touchstone/Miramax/Pixar/Buena Vista films synergistically larded into this evening's big winners on ABC.
