Yes, Jail-Bound Lindsay Lohan's Fingernail Actually Reads 'F*** U'

Not a lot to add to this one, folks: Lindsay Lohan rounded out arguably the worst day of her life -- 90-day jail sentence, court-mandated rehab, spoiled sobs of contrition -- with a stunt that sums up every reason why Lohan will never likely regain anything close to regular employability in the film industry. Period. It's after the jump.

The gossip circuit is attempting to determine if the epithet -- etched on Lohan's left middle fingernail and aimed straight at Judge Marsha Revel during her probation hearing -- was in fact targeted at Revel or the press corps covering the hearing or both. Also in question: When and by whom the words were written. Some observers noted how Lohan did some fiddling in court, but...

Does it really matter? This girl went from Robert Altman scene-stealer opposite Meryl Streep and Lily Tomlin to jail-bound manicure-malfunction poster child in about four years flat. Her few remaining allies (including the director of her Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno) insist they're remaining loyal and that Lohan's incarceration won't derail any planned productions. Of course it won't. Lohan can do that all by herself.

Anyway, be sad, don't be sad, frustrated, amused, nonplussed, whatever. She's done.
