Elena Kagan Grilled on Critical Judicial Matter of Edward vs. Jacob

In her confirmation hearings this week, Supreme Court hopeful Elena Kagan has presented herself as an even-handed and experienced arbiter of our nation's Constitution. And while we may know slightly more about her judicial point of view on such delicate social issues as abortion and gay marriage, only today did Kagan face the most important, polarizing question to date: Team Jacob or Team Edward? In actuality, Sen. Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota withdrew the wrenching inquiry shortly after asking it, backstepping to the less incendiary matter of "werewolves vs. vampires" before finally withdrawing the question altogether. Gripped with visible relief, Judge Kagan regained her composure and hoped against hope she might dodge the committee's inevitable "What the hell is Despicable Me?" query with as much luck and aplomb.
