Sweden's Simon and the Oaks Heads to America
Based on an international bestseller, the epic drama revolving around Simon, an intellectually gifted boy who feels out of place in his own family. Starring Bill Skarsgard, Helen Sjoholm and Jan Josef Liefers, the film is a depiction of fate, destiny and free will and vividly portrays the situation for Jews in Sweden during World War II. Distributor The Film Arcade will release the feature in the U.S.

Lionsgate Dates Hunger Games Finale in Two Parts
The original opened this spring taking in hordes of cash and the next installment, Catching Fire is set for this November 21st. Now Lionsgate said the third book will be released in two installments. Mockingjay Part 1 will open November 21, 2014, while Mockingjay Part 2 will come out November 20, 2015, Deadline reports.

Peter O'Toole Retires at 79
The multiple Oscar-nominee said in a statement Tuesday, "The heart for it has gone out of me, it won't come back." O'Toole's career spans over sixty years. His last Academy Award-nomination was in 2006 for Venus, THR reports.

Cameron Diaz, Eva Mendes, Jennifer Lopez Among 2012 ALMA Awards Noms
The nominations for the Latino-centered awards show are out and include a pack of big names including Cameron Diaz, Eva Mendes, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Charlie Sheen, Demi Lovato and Zoë Saldana. Films nominated for top movie honors include: Act of Valor, For Greater Glory, Girl in Progress, Puss in Boots and The Way. Eva Longoria will host, E Online reports.
