Bridesmaids, Breaking Dawn, Hunger Games to Finally Square Off at MTV Movie Awards

The annual pageant of youth, taste and class hardware bacchanal known as the MTV Movie Awards has announced its nominations for 2012, with this year's most formidable blockbuster to date, The Hunger Games, doing battle against the most formidable blockbusters of last year's calendar, including Bridesmaids, Breaking Dawn: Part I, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, The Help, and others. And Drive loyalists rejoice! Your favorite head-shattering action-drama of 2011 has been honored with three nominations as well.     No one is squaring off because MTV is no longer allowing the votes to be only by the fans/people! Instead they have selected a group to decide which movies/people/music, etc., will be nominated!!! As for us fans, those votes will be limited!! By taking away the total and complete fan vote they are removing their unique awards and moving into more of an academy awards type ceremony, where "the Academy" chooses who wins and not the people! I think this stinks!
