  • AS says:

Told ya Stu, no way The Help was winning Best Drama when it wasn't nominated for Director.

P.S. Ricky Gervais was pretty disappointing. I didn't laugh once and none of the jokes were "controversial."

    • AS says:

Most Awkward Moment: David Fincher fails to hand Streep her reading glasses.

Most Embarrassing/Shameful Moment: Alexander Payne shakes hands with Rupert Murdoch upon wining Best Drama.

There you have it! It also didn't spend the apparent thousands upon thousands of dollars Harvey Weinstein spent to be serially recognized for three hours. Tough break, there.

  • Sorry, I stepped out for a Jumbaco, only to be let down once again by mass media (way to go, media, first Ron Paul now the Jumbaco).

Did I miss anything? Did Karl Urban finally get the recognition he deserved for Priest?

    • j'accuse! says:

I wish this would ping those google alerts the Paultards have for any time the interwebs mentions Ron Paul. They're second only to Bronies in terms of freakishness.

    My 2 Questions:

What was that insanely long commercial for Scientology doing there??? Is that a First Time Ever? or something that occurs on TV regularly now? (I haven't had TV for a few years so I am out of the loop on SCIENTOLOGY COMMERCIALS. GOOD GOD, SERIOUSLY??!)

Also: What was with the Turkish actress and the odd shout-out to Turkey?

    • j'accuse! says:

This really sounds like a suppressive comment. Your Thetan levels must be through the roof!

      Also, Turkey is delicious.

      • blizzard bound says:

I felt like I was watching some weird subliminal alternate universe Golden Globes that was the result of someone accepting piles of money from Scientologists to run an ad (!!!!!!!) and someone making a diplomatic deal with the Turks for their agreement to support some treaty.

And if they put it all early enough no one would remember that it happened.

  • j'accuse! says:

I'm not impressed with your contribution Heidi. If that is your real name...
