· The 25th anniversary of Top Gun will run a little long, apparently: A company called Legend 3-D is in the early stages of converting Tony Scott's 1986 blockbuster to 3-D for theatrical distribution sometime in 2012. Four minutes -- including the "Danger Zone" sequence -- have already been converted and previewed at a convention in Amsterdam; all Legend needs is Scott's approval to handle the rest. Good luck? · Baz Luhrmann may be spending $127 million to make a new adaptation of The Great Gatsby but Amitabh Bachchan isn't making a dime. The Bollywood icon, whom Lurhmann roped in to play "shadowy gangster" Meyer Wolfsheim, wrote Sunday on his blog, "[Luhrmann] called last month and wondered if I would do this small role in his film and I agreed.
