Watch the Kick-Ass Trailer for Steve Soderbergh's Haywire

Another day, another outstanding trailer for an upcoming movie that you probably didn't think would get a push from Comic-Con. Hot on the heels of that breathtaking clip for Drive comes the balls-out trailer for Steven Soderbergh's Haywire, the previously thought-to-be second of Soderbergh's final five films. Good thing ol' Mr. Soderbergh isn't actually retiring!

Starring MMA fighter Gina Carano and a cavalcade of male leading men in supporting roles -- Ewan McGregor, Michael Douglas, Chaning Tatum, Michael Fassbender, Antonio Banderas, Bill Paxton and Michael Angarano (hey, he was the lead in Ceremony) -- Haywire is a revenge action thriller about a burned agent (Carano) trying to get back at everyone who cut her loose... with extreme prejudice and lots of hand-to-hand violence. Pro: the trailer offers a great look at the feel of the film -- The Girlfriend Experience's low-key aesthetic mixed with the badassery of The Limey (Lem Dobbs wrote the script). Con: there's at least one moderate spoiler for you Fassbender fanatics. Still, watch and be wowed -- spoilers be damned!

Haywire hits theaters on Jan. 20, 2012.

VERDICT: K.O.
