Speaking of trailers for Happy Madison productions, Adam Sandler's company has just rolled out another preview, this time for Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star. The comedy features long-time Sandler collaborator and comedian Nick Swardson as a bucktoothed Iowa grocery bagger who dreams of hitting it big as a porn star after discovering a filthy family secret. Do you dare click through?
Written by Adam Sandler, Allan Covert and Swardson, the movie follows Bucky Larson as he moves from the Hawkeye State to Hollywood to realize his dream of becoming a second generation-porn actor. Tom Brady (the man responsible for not one but two Rob Schneider movies, The Hot Chick and The Animal) directs. Don Johnson co-stars as Larson's manager Miles Deep, Covert makes an appearance as a sleazy video store owner and Jimmy Fallon cameos as a talk show host trying not to laugh at his bowl coiffed guest.
Verdict: Listen guys, I laughed during this trailer. I'm not proud of it, but I'll take a buck-toothed Nick Swardson over Adam Sandler in drag any day of the week.
Will you be in the theater when Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star premieres Sept. 9, 2011?
