During this morning's revamped online Glenn Beck Program -- which Fox News is co-producing for GBTV, officially launching this September -- the polarizing media figure announced that he and his family are moving from New York to Dallas, Texas. There, Beck will continue his online talk show and build his media empire.
"We're going to build a film and television center and radio center in Dallas," Beck told viewers this morning. "And we're going to create some jobs with people who know how to create jobs in Texas. So we'll be doing that shortly and will give you more details."
Disappointingly, that's all Beck revealed about his plans to crossover into film before trying to explain his move to viewers ("We are changing our life because I actually believe in the things that I tell you every day.") and modestly revealing that GBTV is already "more wildly successful than we had imagined."
If you'd like to keep track of Beck's media domination plans (and most frighteningly, his filmmaking aspirations), check back at Movieline periodically or purchase a subscription to GBTV, which costs between $50 and $100 per year.
