Legendary Pictures to Bring Pacific Rim, Proyas, Paradise Lost and More to Comic-Con

Legendary Pictures -- the production company behind Batman Begins, Watchmen, Clash of the Titans, and all the movies you can't wait to see in 2012 and beyond -- will host its first Comic-Con panel later this month, and while footage will likely be scarce, expect a parade of talent to come through Hall H for upcoming films Pacific Rim, Seventh Son, Paradise Lost, and the Mass Effect video game adaptation. Hit the jump for Legendary's roster of talent!

Fanboy favorite Guillermo del Toro will be in attendance for Pacific Rim, his mecha-tinged alien invasion pic, along with screenwriter Travis Beacham and stars Idris Elba, Charlie Hunnam, Charlie Day, and new cast addition Rinko Kikuchi.

Sci-fi filmmaker Alex Proyas (The Crow, Dark City, I, Robot, Knowing) will also stop by Hall H with his adaptation of Paradise Lost, with star Bradley Cooper in tow.

Meanwhile, Jeff Bridges will appear with director Sergei Bodrov and co-stars Ben Barnes and Alicia Vikander to talk up Seventh Son, an adaptation of Joseph Delaney's book The Spook's Apprentice.

And perhaps most fascinating of the bunch: Mass Effect video game creator Casey Hudson will appear with screenwriter Mark Protosevich (Thor, I Am Legend) to discuss the game's big screen adaptation.

None of the above films are likely to have footage ready, but Legendary, meanwhile, has big upcoming films that will reportedly sit out panel presentations altogether: The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel. (Not to mention the now-filming Jack the Giant Killer and Clash of the Titans 2.) Could there be a secret tease of one or the other during Legendary's first Comic-Con appearance? Anything's possible, but don't hold your breath.
