The Hangover Part II Tattoo Could Get Digitally Altered on DVD, and 5 Other Stories You'll Be Talking About Today

Also in this Thursday edition of The Broadsheet: Jonah Hill could reteam with the Duplass Brothers... Mark Wahlberg really wants that sequel to The Fighter... George Clooney gets involved in Weinergate, somehow... and more ahead.

· Take a good look at Ed Helms' face tattoo from The Hangover Part II, because by the time Christmas rolls around, it could be completely different. Warner Bros. has told a Missouri judge that if the studio's legal tussle with tattoo artist S. Victor Whitmill is not resolved by the time the film arrives on DVD and Blu-ray in December, changes will be made to digitally alter the "allegedly infringing tattoo." Whitmill -- the tattoo artist behind Mike Tyson's face tattoo who sued Warner Bros. for copyright infringement before the Todd Phillips-directed film's release -- was originally seeking to keep The Hangover Part II out of theaters. Provided a settlement doesn't happen beforehand, a jury trial has now been set for Feb. 21, 2012, where it will be decided whether to award Whitmill damages or a permanent injunction against the film. · Jonah Hill showed great range in last summer's Cyrus, and now he could be reuniting with directors Jay and Mark Duplass for another oft-kilter mother-son dramedy. The Los Angeles Times reports that the brothers just finished a script for the "dramatic thriller" Pitchfork, and have discussed it with Hill. The film would follow the mother of an indie rocker, who -- after the death of her son in a car accident -- hunts down the blogger who wrote nasty things about him on the music site Pitchfork, only to realize he's just a teenager. Susan Sarandon is one of the names being discussed for the role of the mother, but here's hoping Catherine Keener gets her name in the conversation. Wrote Hill on Twitter about the report: "Hmm... could it be true? Me and The Duplass Brothers teaming up again? Only time shall tell." [LAT/24 Frames]

· Matthew Goode is in talks to lead Old Boy director Chan-wook Park's domestic directorial debut Stoker, a Shadow of a Doubt-like thriller from Prison Break star Wentworth Miller (written under the pseudonym Ted Foulke). Mia Wasikowska and Nicole Kidman are set to co-star. [Variety]

· New film distribution company Open Road will release Killer Elite on Sept. 23. The action film stars Jason Statham, Clive Owen and Robert De Niro, so it will likely be totally awesome in the most trashy violent way possible. [Deadline

· "George Clooney Did NOT Date Anthony Weiner's Wife!" reads the headline on RadarOnline.com. And now you know. [RadarOnline.com]

· You have to love Mark Wahlberg, if only because he talks up the potential sequel to The Fighter every chance he gets. Here's Wahlberg discussing it yet again, at the Guy's Choice Awards last weekend. Warning: some salty dialogue and Sarah Palin bashing lies ahead.
