If you were hoping to see the Rian Johnson-directed Looper in theaters this year, some bad news: it won't get released until Sept. 28, 2012. That's unfortunate for a number of reasons -- it's Johnson's follow-up to the underrated Brothers Bloom; it stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt in a twisty time travel plot -- but mostly just because it means you have to wait 15 months to find out what Bruce Willis is shooting his massive machine gun at in this picture.
